OMG, this Alfredo is simple and AMAZING! I have tried other recipes using cream of chicken soup and chicken stock, but this is SO much better! It really does taste just like Olive Garden’s (which is my #1 weakness! I am literally shoveling it into my mouth at the moment. Awesome recipe, I may add a little more garlic next time though.
Also, any tips on how to get all my cheeses to melt completely?? I had a little chunk of cream cheese and some strings of parmesan,
HOW TO MAKE OLIVE GARDEN PASTA ALFREDO RECIPE
1 stick of butter
1 clove of minced garlic
1 pint of heavy cream
1 cup of Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons cream cheese
salt and pepper
In a sauce pan over medium heat – melt butter and add garlic and cook for two minutes.
Add cream and cream cheese and heat till bubbling ( not to the point of a boil)
Add in Parmesan Cheese and mix until the cheese melts add salt and pepper to taste. I ended up adding about ½ teaspoon of pepper ( but that is just me).
Mix some sauce with the pasta ( a little sauce goes a long way 😉 ).
